Cooking: Burgers

These were born out of a desperation because no matter how much we all love burgers, all the shop bought ones were making us all feel nauseous. So, grabbing a pack of mince, some herbs etc I set to work to try and create a tasty burger that wasn’t full of additives. These are the end result. For under a fiver, you can get 5 fair sized cheeseburgers that are very tasty and not filled with additives and grease.

750g pork mince
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/4 tsp salt
liberal dash of pepper
3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

Put all the ingredients in a bowl, mush together until thoroughly combined. Divide into balls and flatten slightly.

Put into a dry, hot frying pan. Fry for 15-20 mins, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
