Trust me on this one. I’d planned burgers for dinner last night and was looking at the black pudding in the fridge, debating whether it would work and boy does it work. Makes 6.
850g turkey mince
2 thick slices of black pudding (something like Bury’s)
3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp of dried mixed herbs
Salt & pepper
In a bowl mix the mince, seasonings and sauce. Then cut the black pudding into cubes and gently combine them in the mince. Make up the burgers, put them on a plate and put in the fridge for 30 mins.
Heat a pan and cook for around 10 mins each side (until cooked through) and serve in buns.
